About us

Expanding Access to Mental Health Support

Our Story

Meeting Families Where They Are

Cranes For Change is a nonprofit behavioral health organization focused on expanding access to care for children, adolescents, and families. We work directly within schools and alongside community partners to reduce barriers and make support easier to reach when it is needed most.

At its core, Cranes for Change exists to strengthen the community around children so they are supported wherever they live, learn, and grow. Through school-based services, outpatient therapy, rapid access assessments, and care coordination, we help children and families connect to the right level of support.

Our Approach

A Practical, Community-Based Approach to Care

Reducing Barriers to Care

Many families face long wait times, transportation challenges, insurance barriers, and confusion around where to start. We work to reduce those barriers by bringing behavioral health services closer to the community and creating clear pathways to support.

Responding Early and Connecting Support

When concerns are identified early, individuals are more likely to receive the support they need before challenges grow. We partner with schools, families, and community providers to assess needs, coordinate care, and help people move toward stability.
